During the past twenty years, TSL has designed, qualified, and delivered over 15,000 PDP units meeting the design standards of MIL-P-29183. Several National Stock Number (NSN) items are available from 15KW to 200KW power capacities in over 40 configurations. The PDPs are commonly used in military “Bare Base” operations in extreme environments.
The TSL Model 1090 PDPs are portable, and the smaller sizes can be easily handled by one person. The larger units are designed for forklift or sling handling in addition to having multiple handles for moving by a 6 man crew. Input power to all units is 120/208 VAC three-phase. Outputs are protected by thermal-magnetic breakers, with ground-fault interrupters on single-phase output lines. All circuit breakers can be specified fungus-proof. Outputs are delivered by way of Class L circular connectors or NEMA wiring devices. The panels are finished in the various standard MIL-STD-595 service colors, including desert sand and camouflage.

TSL has also developed an improved method of sustainable power distribution that prevents “nuisance” circuit breaker trips in high temperature environments.
